Punakha

Located at an average elevation of 1350m which is 72km away from Thimphu and takes 2.5 hrs drives offering spectacular camping experience. Punakha is surrounded by fertile Punastangchu valley and many little villages around. Good place for camping in winter, autumn & spring.

Phobjikha

Phobjikha falls in Wangdue Phodrang district under black mountain region which takes about 5 hours drive from Thimphu and about 3 hours drive from Punakha further east. Phobjikha is famous for black necked cranes which migrate in every winter.

Haa

Haa's major feature is the Haa valley; a sttep north-south valley with narrow floor. An alternative name for the district is "Hidden-Land Rice Valley". The Haa chhu flows through the valley.

Bumthang

Blessed by Padmasambhava (Guru Rimpoche) in 8th century, the valley of Bumthang cannot be compared with any other districts in Bhutan. Bumthang has maximum number of religious sites and festivals which attracts many thousands tourists.
